If a tree falls in the forest, or you create a strategic plan, and no one knows about it, neither one is helpful. Yet that’s how plans are often created – alone by a leader, or a leadership team, and it’s not known, understood or valued by their organization.
Which is probably why President Eisenhower said, “Plans are worthless, planning is everything.”
When we plan together, we’ll make sure it has a strong vision, mission, goals, and strategy, and most importantly that your people are invested in its success, and that they understand that it’s meant to be a living, breathing document that in all likelihood will change. Together, we’ll build a good plan, and a stronger planning muscle.
